Traditional crafts are indeed at risk of disappearing due to various factors such as modernization, globalization, and changing consumer preferences. Many younger generations are not pursuing these crafts as careers, leading to a decline in the number of skilled artisans. Additionally, mass production and cheaper alternatives are making it difficult for traditional crafts to compete in the market. Efforts are being made to preserve and promote these crafts through initiatives like cultural heritage programs and artisan cooperatives. **

When doing crafts and painting with intellectually disabled children, it's important to consider their individual needs and abilities. Use simple and easy-to-follow instructions, and provide plenty of support and encouragement. Adapt the activity to their skill level and provide any necessary accommodations, such as larger paintbrushes or adaptive tools. Focus on the process rather than the end result, and create a supportive and inclusive environment where the children feel comfortable expressing themselves creatively. Lastly, be patient and flexible, and allow the children to explore and enjoy the activity at their own pace. **
